If I could describe my perfect client or project, it would be one that positively improves something affecting people’s daily lives. That’s not to say that getting paid isn’t important or working on something fun isn’t important, but when you have the opportunity to experience people being thankful for your creativity, it’s a feeling that is hard to beat.
There have been some fantastic opportunities provided to me and for every project my aim is to ensure the client is genuinely happy with the result. For every project I work on I am to improve my skills and get more out of my tools.
I’m available for projects where you are in need of web or motion design to communicate your message. My tools of choice are Adobe Illustrator and Adobe After Effects. I am however ever expanding my tool set and using Sketch App and a variety of plugins/tools like AirBnB’s BodyMovin’.
Here is a minimalised version of my life story to date.
Built a boatload of great childhood memories – and then life happened…
Part programming and part economics course and a whole lot of fun on campus
Consultancy company that inserted me into IT support roles across Sydney and in Amsterdam
Provided IT Support for a global law firm, based in London and traveled to offices throughout Europe on IT Projects
Moved to Frankfurt office permanently to drink German beer and learn the local lingo
Debevoise & Plimpton
US law firm needed an IT Manager to handle everything in their Frankfurt office.
SAE College (QANTM College)
Back to the land down under to study design and show my German my future wife the Ozzie lifestyle
I started my own business so I could apply my skills whilst I studied. I’m a sucker for punishment.
Front-end design/development for a small studio working on big projects, like KIA motors.
OAMM – LED Advertising
Specalist sports signage agency that used LED technology to grow into other markets. I specialised as an animation expert across Australia & New Zealand and learned to sell ice to eskimos.
Huck IT GmbH
Back to Germany and now provide graphics and marketing assistance for a small IT Firm with big dreams
I’m an Aussie living in the heart of Europe. I studied design in Sydney after working for almost 10 years in the IT industry. I’ve collected experience working in various countries in Europe and Australia – and continue to enjoy working with customers across the globe.
My freelance work focuses on helping smaller businesses with limited budgets, but affords me more creative freedom.
If I am not in front of a piece of technology, you’ll find me on Strava pursuing a PT or spending time with my wife and kids.
